I am an artist and illustrator from Santa Barbara County, rooted in the rich cultural heritage of my Purépecha ancestry. My work is created with intention and deep purpose: to illustrate the lived realities of my brown, Indigenous, migrant community.
Through bold imagery and storytelling, I strive to reflect the beauty, complexity, and strength of my people. My art is both a mirror and a bridge — offering my community the opportunity to feel seen, represented, and celebrated, while also educating those outside our reality.
As an artist with Purépecha roots, I carry immense pride in keeping our traditions, struggles, and spirit alive through every piece I create. Art, for me, is not only a form of personal expression, but a tool for cultural preservation, resistance, and collective healing.
